Biography
Anders R. Naesset is currently 27 years of age and resides in Hønefoss, Norway. His birthplace is the small town of Jevnaker just a few kilometres away.
Anders has always been fascinated by art and especially natural art. The great Norwegian landscape painters from the National Romantic era are his first true inspiration masters.
Later on in his life he picked up a digital SLR camera and it was instant love. From 2006 he has been photographing Norway's vast landscapes in all its varieties. From the great magnificent north, to the soft coastline of the south. His main focus has been the area where he currently lives with its large inland lakes and huge forested areas. Typical of his work is the "golden hour" light and his attention to the relation between light and shadow.
His photography-inspirators are amongst others; Galen Rowell, Ansel Adams, Marc Adamus and Guy Tal.
